Our growing Software as a Service (SaaS) client is seeking a Strategic Technology Partner to join their team in their Austin, TX location. This hire will bring previous pre-sales and/or partner management experiences with enterprise software selling skills combined with a technical background, and knowledge of web technologies and enterprise SaaS applications. You must have a background in technology, internet protocols, sales, including experience in consultative selling or solution-based sales.

You also enjoy working with people and technology, and as such you have both the ability to interact with various teams as well as excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Product Management teams to identify and create winning Independent Software Vendor (ISVs) strategies and go to market
  • Define and manage the right ISV strategy: select ISVs that bring values to the company, engage with them, manage the technical integration and the global go to market strategy, aligned and jointly with the Product Management.
  • Write detailed technical and business cases for new features and ISV integration points
  • Be the Technical Trusted Advisor to our key and strategic ISVs and Technology Partners (support, joint business, new solutions)
  • Have a deep understanding of SaaS market solutions and a proven experience with Microsoft solutions (Sharepoint, Azure) and Microsoft ecosystem
  • Propose and/or design technical solutions to meet market needs, prospect's business, technical, and/or financial goals
  • Implement and manage Proof of Concepts with ISVs
  • Support and setup tradeshow demos, including tailored environment for key tech partners and their customers
  • Partner with Sales and partners Sales to develop requirements documents, presentations, proposals, coordinate with Product team or project managers to execute sales objectives or to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned
  • Maintain expert knowledge of company’ s products to develop and present unique solutions including ISV solutions, and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in technology
  • Understand and explain the competitive landscape surrounding our Social Intranet and next offering

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Background in partnerships and/or technical partnerships, ideally within Enterprise accounts
  • Understanding of deployment and integration of SaaS based software
  • Knowledge of product management and integration processes
  • Technical skills combined with a good understanding of sales situations
  • Presentations, listening, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized and structured, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-learner, team player, enjoys sharing ideas and knowledge
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and shows initiative
  • Willing to travel in the US and Europe (40% approx.)
  • BA/BS degree preferred
