Job Description

  • Coordination with pack team to meet best pack processes for ease of customs clearance with minimal delay

  • Coordination with Customer Care Center to meet customer/business deadlines

  • Coordination with Trade Compliance and Product Management for jurisdiction review process (each product must be reviewed/approved to ship)

  • Coordination directly with customer/sales rep to comply with customer specific requirements/instructions

  • Coordination with freight forwarders/carriers for best rates/routes/ETA

  • Will train/certify on lithium ion battery transportation

  • Documentation requirements – Will create and/or coordinate the completion of the following:

    • Commercial invoices

    • Packing lists

    • Dispatch advices

    • Packing declarations

    • Shipper’s letter of instructions

    • Certificates of compliance

    • MSDS

    • Certificates of origin

    • CE markings

    • Other as applicable depending on product, customer, country, method of shipment

  • Break down equipment by HTS, ECCN, COO, commercial value and use that information to complete AES filings for courier shipments and shipper’s letter of instructions for freight forwarder shipments

  • Track all shipments until delivery is completed, address any delays/questions/requests for additional documentation quickly to ensure customs clearance

  • Understand and execute to the CE process

  • Understand and execute to the new additional EU requirements

  • Understand requirements/regulations for each country

  • In addition to exports, Federal orders have special labeling requirements.  Will train on UID/Mil-Std-129 labeling requirements, will need to coordinate with the customer care center, production team, and pack team to comply with Federal/contractual regulations as a secondary responsibility to exports.  Will use specific software for the scanning of UID labels for validation/verification of the barcodes and will use different specific software for the creation of the Mil-Std-129 labels per contract details.
