Job Description
Job Title: Aero Logistics Engineer
Job Location: Fort Worth TX 76101
Onsite Requirements:
- Aviation maintenance experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and integration of logistics support systems within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Conduct and coordinate various logistics analyses, including:
- Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Provisioning and Supply Support
- Task/Maintenance Planning
- Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
- Paper-based manuals and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs)
- Repair Parts and Special Tool Lists (RPSTLs)
- Support Equipment and PHS&T
- Ensure compliance with applicable military standards (MIL-STDs) and specifications.
- Design and implement inherent supportability features into the maintenance and logistics strategy.
- Prepare data and presentations for program reviews.
- Meet performance metrics related to cost and schedule objectives.
- Support additional logistics and maintenance initiatives as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of military aviation experience or 5+ years in aviation maintenance/logistics.
- Proficient with SlicWave Logistics Product Data software.
- Knowledge of S1000D publication specifications and GEIA-STD-007.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
