Job Description:

Overview:

* The HR IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects related to Human Resources.
* This role involves coordinating between HR, IT team and 3rd party service providers, ensuring the successful implementation of HR systems, and improving technology-driven HR processes with high emphasis on systems integrations and system testing/verification.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, a strong understanding of HR systems, systems integration, change management and excellent communication skills.
* Specific experience with Workday HCM and ADP Payroll desired as these are the key systems for this engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with HR and IT stakeholders.
o Coordinate and manage project governance, meetings, tasks, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

2. Stakeholder Management:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR technology-related projects.
o Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
o Facilitate meetings with HR and IT teams to align project goals and expectations.

3. System Implementation and Optimization:

o Oversee the implementation of HR HCM functional modules (Compensation, Talent, Payroll and Time & Attendance) systems.
o Ensure systems are integrated with each other with existing IT infrastructure and meet HR needs.
o Identify areas for process improvement and recommend technology solutions.

4. Risk Management:

o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Monitor and address project issues promptly to avoid delays and ensure project success.

5. Quality Assurance:

Ensure that technology solutions meet the required standards and are tested thoroughly before deployment.
o Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and identify lessons learned.

6. Training and Support:

o Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for HR staff on new systems and technologies.
o Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR technology issues.


7. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and user manuals.
o Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in project management, particularly with HR technology projects.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and technology systems (HCM, Payroll, Benefits and T&A).
* Experience implementing and fully integrated Workday HCM solution
* Experience implementing and fully integrating ADP Payroll (Celergo)
* Strong understanding of HR processes and technology systems (HCM, Payroll, Benefits and T&A).
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.
* Working Conditions:
* Office-based role.
* May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
