Job Description:
- Oracle ERP Replacement - multi-year project replacing our on-prem Oracle EBS to a cloud-based solution.
- We are kicking off an initial project with an external consultancy to assess our current Oracle ERP, developing a costed business case and roadmap for the full migration project.
- Moving into 2026, we will be conducting RFPs for solution and integration vendors, and then move into the actual migration work.
- M365 implementation - phased approach;
- Exchange has already been migrated to the cloud.
- Next phases include O365 implementation (from Office 2016);replacement of Webex with Teams;full Teams rollout;SharePoint implementation.
- Additional phases are likely to include migrating documentation to SharePoint, implementation of PowerBI, possible implementation of PowerAutomate/PowerApps, migration of our Intranet to SharePoint.
- Both of these projects are enterprise projects, and will impact all staff across our agency.
- For the Oracle ERP Replacement project, our main customers are in Finance and HR.
- We have strong support from the agency for both of these projects.
Looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading enterprise projects - ERP migration and/or M365 implementation experience would be an added bonus
- Can apply PMBoK principles and processes to delivery of the project (ideally has their PMP, but being able to apply the framework is more important than the certification itself)
- Can lead and drive projects with multiple stakeholders
- Can develop and manage complex schedules
- Understands the importance of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and can build those activities into the projects
- Understands the challenges of legacy system integration and deprecation
- Sufficient technical knowledge to be able to communicate effectively with, and understand and manage the work of, technical staff
