Instructional Systems Trainer/Designer
Location: Orlando, FL
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
In this role you will:
Develop training material following the basic ADDIE Methodology in accordance with MIL-HDK-29612 and associated Data Item Descriptions
Develop Lesson Plans, Visual Aids, Trainee Guides, Programs of Instruction, Storyboards, Scripts, and other training material in the Army Live/Virtual/Constructive Training domain
Travel and Conduct Training at various locations.
Develop Instructor-Led Training, Interactive Multimedia Instruction, and Embedded Training
Produce training material using MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and other training development products
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Fully proficient knowledge of the application of the ADDIE development model
Fully proficient knowledge of the principles Instructional Systems Design, evaluation concepts, verification and validation, and effectiveness processes as they relate to the development of training products and/or training for the company's products and related services with functional knowledge across multiple processes-Degree in Instructional Design or equivalent.
Knowledge of military training domain is preferable
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related field; or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or master’ s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Department of Defense security clearance is not required at time of hire but must be obtainable within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
