Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Materials Management Coordinator to oversee the physical and electronic movement of materials in and out of our Flex center.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound materials from multiple sources for use in batch manufacturing across various modalities and coordinating the transfer of manufactured drug products to partners.
- This role requires cross-functional collaboration with formulators, engineers, site partners, and other team members to understand facility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the physical and electronic material movement into and out of the FLEx center.
- Manage inbound materials from various source areas for use in batch manufacturing across different modalities.
- Coordinate the transfer of manufactured drug products to partners.
- Work cross-functionally with formulators, engineers, site partners, and other team members to understand and meet facility needs.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with team members of diverse skill sets and backgrounds.
- Advanced computer skills and a desire to expand knowledge of new IT tools.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of MES (manufacturing execution system;Merck's system is PAS|X), SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of drug product manufacturing or development.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics.
- Experience working with temperature-sensitive materials (ambient/refrigeration/frozen).
