Job Title: RF/Microwave Design Engineer
Job Location: Lexington MA 02420
Onsite Requirements:
- RF Subsystem Design
- PCB Board layout
- lab testing
Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and test RF subsystems using COTS components at HF frequencies and higher (possibly up to 10's of GHz)
- Design, develop, and test analog and digital phased arrays for mmWave systems
- Coordinate logistics of large-scale hardware installations including interfacing between lab engineers and site managers/installers
Must Have:
- Hardware: RF subsystem design and PCB board layout
- Experience designing and lab-testing RF subsystem s(e.G., use of network analyzers, signal generators, etc.)
- Experience with mmWave systems
- Experience with 3D printing mmWave filters and components
- Experience with communication signal processing and protocols
- Experience coordinating and fielding RF-based equipment for test and demonstration
- Experience in phased array design from 10's of MHz to10's of GHz
- Experience in measuring propagation loss through materials such as radomes
- Experience simulating RF mmWave components and systems
Education:
- PhD plus 5 years minimum experience, or MS plus 8 years minimum experience
