TITLE:  Senior Business Analyst - Oracle

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Senior Business Analyst assigned to corporate projects focused primarily on solutions for assigned functional areas including Finance and HRIS where Oracle E-Business Suite is a component. This position requires the analyst to work in a matrix environment. Solutions will require the analyst to elicit requirements and provide solutions that involve new implementations and enhancements to existing system. Important aspects to the role are effective business communication skills and possession of strong Business Analysis skills that produce high quality documents. 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

- 5 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite's Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, iExpense and Cash Management) or HumanCapital Management (Core HR, Employee Self Service, PTO, Advanced Benefits, Compensation and Payroll. 
-Design experience with custom interfaces for Oracle eBusiness Suite and third party integration edge systems. 
-Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Technologies including but not limited to XML Publisher, EDI/XML gateway and Workflow. 
-History of working with Oracle support to debug, diagnose and decipher issues is a plus. 


-Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience. 
7-10 years of related work experience

Responsibilities Include: 
- Analyzes complex cross functional business processes and defines integrated requirements 
-Facilitates the design of integrated solutions (process, technical & organizational) 
-Ensures the end to end solution is proven to deliver the required business results 
-Communications with Business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with project status 
-Drives the definition, testing, training and implementation of functional requirements. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to Global Production Support. 
Develops, monitor and track plans to create the BA deliverables on an assigned project. 
- Coaches other BAs in the delivery of artifacts for assigned project 
-Networks with the BA community to share best practice and develop BA competency. 
-Creates/revises/executes the following deliverables using industry standard techniques as applicable, including: Process Maps, Data Flow Diagrams, Requirements specifications, Use Case Scenarios and Acceptance Testing.  

-Demonstrates an ability to handle higher levels of complexity 
-Requirements management 
-Process mapping (process maps) 
-Data Flow modeling 
-Functional Specifications (design and configuration) 
-Knowledge of retail sector 
-Knowledge of relevant IT technologies 
-Functional knowledge (Oracle EBS, Oracle MDM, Hyperion Planning a plus) 
-Facilitation skills 
-CBAP
