Job Description:
  • Looking for a Sr. Software Engineer responsible for the analysis, design, code, testing, and documentation of a major project, combining the expertise of banking knowledge with the importance of conceptualizing the programs to be developed based on specifications.

Core Requirements/Technical Skills:
  • Operating System: LINUX, UNIX
  • Languages: Cobol, JCLs
  • Scripting language: Shell Script, PowerShell
  • DB: Oracle
  • Microfocus, Eclipse

Nice to haves:
  • Bilingual Spanish/English language proficiency

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the requirements
  • Design the better solution aligned as the core banking
  • Create processes/programs to cover the needs and requirements in the analysis phase
  • Unit test aligned with the better practices of the bank and do the revisions to eliminate errors
  • Design and implement tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables. Analyze testing results and report issues found
  • Review test results with the team, complete final program documentation
  • Prepare the whole documentation to follow the change management process to deploy the processes/programs in production environment
  • Participate in the post-implementation of production processes/programs, ensuring the delivery of the information required for the project
  • Iterate as many times as the bank requires according to the needs of the project, to guarantee the delivery of the information
