About the Group
The Information Integration & Decision Support Group (Group 09-93) at the Space Tactics & Test Group develops mission-critical, real-time data fusion, command and control, and decision support tools. These efforts underpin the tracking, monitoring, control, and defense of over 20,000 operational satellites vital to national interests. The team's software ensures interoperability, integrates novel sensor data, and delivers next-gen solutions for event detection, scheduling, operational analysis, and live simulation exercises for the Space Warfighter. Job Summary You will contribute directly to front-end user interface development and cutting-edge software engineering for national security decision-support tools. The focus will be on integrating new algorithms, ensuring system interoperability, troubleshooting, and rapidly prototyping new interfaces and software solutions to support satellite mission operations. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and delivering creative, reliable results is critical. Responsibilities
- Develop and refine user interfaces for real-time command and control/data fusion software.
- Lead and contribute to software design, development, troubleshooting, and rapid prototyping.
- Integrate new algorithms and software modules, ensuring seamless function with other group-developed tools.
- Work independently and collaboratively with group members/developers.
- Analyze complex technical problems and implement creative solutions.
- Support integration, anomaly resolution, and maintenance of live software/system deployments.
- Communicate actively and effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance (required for consideration)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's/PhD is a plus)
- 5+ years of Frontend JavaScript experience
- 5+ years of HTML/CSS development experience
- 5+ years of React.js experience
- 2+ years of Node.js experience
- Experience in team-based software engineering and practical software development
- Demonstrated longevity in previous roles (no job hoppers, contractors with <12 months per role, etc.)
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, ability to work onsite in Lexington, MA
- Redux or Flux experience
- Java development experience
- C++ programming experience
- UI/UX design experience
